Our Clinicians

Anthony Hawke
Sports Physiotherapist, Founder

Anthony Hawke is a sports physiotherapist with a Master in Sports Physiotherapy based in Adelaide. He blends thorough assessment, clear education, manual therapy when useful, and strength based rehab. He has worked with world record powerlifters, combat athletes, aerialists and active adults for nearly a decade. His special interests are lower back pain and hamstring and thigh injuries in sport. Outside the clinic he hits Muay Thai pads, watches the markets, and shares lamb and tzatziki with family.

James Murphy
Physiotherapist

James has a special interest in endurance sports and overload injuries. He works backwards through strength, mechanics, and training load to build plans specific to each patients sport and goals. Before Hawke & Co he worked in community health and as a Physio for Unley Jets football club. Injured himself at 16, he knows what it means to have someone genuinely in your corner. Outside the clinic he is training, watching Formula 1, or in the back row of a cinema with an overpriced popcorn.

Michelle Lieu
Physiotherapist

Michelle is a physiotherapist in Adelaide with a focus on headache, migraine and upper limb care. She is certified in the Watson Headache Approach, one of few in Adelaide, and helps with shoulder instability, rotator cuff related pain and carpal tunnel syndrome. Her style is clear education, gentle hands on care, and graded strength and mobility to build long term confidence. She speaks English and Cantonese and collaborates closely with GPs. Outside the clinic she enjoys acting and dance classes.

OUR VISION

Our vision? To become a beacon of trust, clarity, and effectiveness in the physiotherapy field.

Driven by humility, we aspire to set the highest standards of care and patient education within the coming decade. As Hawke & Co expands its nest of dedicated professionals, we foresee a future where every visit is not merely an appointment - it's a pit-stop in your journey towards optimum health and wellbeing, an opportunity to empower you in becoming the best version of yourself.
